Today in class we talked about the sexism in video games and online communities. My partner said that she was accustom to seeing women having demeaning roles in video game. From the Dragon Age clip in class, she says that the main character kills those men at the end as a female character. Also that the women in the lip portrayed all the video games to be bad for female role. Since she plays video games no they are getting bigger roles and that they are one equal grounds as the men. She also said that it is an issue but not so much compare to other countries. For the online community that they will always be those who disagree with our opinions. And they we can just block them or deal with them if they start being threatening.
