Summary: This interview was held on November 10, 2014. I asked the interviewee about her opinion that why does she think that music is less political now days than it was in 1960's. My interviewee stated that nowadays people don't care much about politics. Now if the artist gets to political than they might lose fans. Most of the people she knew like to listen to music to relax their mind and not worry about anything. In 1960's people used music like for rally's and more in political functions. Now, artists are aware of this that if they are political it doesn't look good, and audience doesn't like that. She also stated that she heard a rock song on a radio that seemed political and she thought that rock fans might not get offended with it, but other audience might get offended with that kind of songs. She thinks there are still political artist in this century, but they are not popular. Nowadays radio is more common and people don't want to listen to artists who are political. Nowadays there aren't many political artists on radio. I asked my interviewee that what is her opinion about artist who is popular and if they become political in future, will they still be popular. She mentioned that if they go slowly and slowly they might not lose their fans, but unfortunately they will lose their popularity.
