Interviewer: Ryan Santana
For my first interview in Soc 142 I asked my classmate questions on issues like homelessness, music, crime and police and inequality. My classmate accepted the interview and we were able to get half done. The interviewee lives in Fresno County and found homelessness to only be a somewhat serious problem. This was interesting because the interviewee then goes on to respond that they see a homeless person more than once a week and has face to face interaction at least 2-3 times a year.
When it came to music my classmate says that they use a personal mp3 to obtain music. The response that I received for different types of music seemed predictable. In crime and police my interviewee stated yes towards crime around there area. When it came to police officers misbehaving around the neighborhood I got mostly on occasion responses and police activity towards my classmate and his family received a never response. On the topic of inequality my interviewee stayed neutral throughout. When it came to the U.S. economic system being fair, the response was a disagreement and makes an argument that not all rich people are hard working.
