My interviewee did not agree on stores being open not only during black friday but also during thursday night. She thought stores were just thinking about the money and not thinking about breaking the tradition of sitting down with family during thanksgiving day and enjoying dinner. Instead the stores were opening their doors early evening so shoppers can start shopping early. My interviewee did not enjoy having to leave her family during thanksgiving night and having to go work since she works retail.
