The article that I chose to read is "Color- Blind Ideology and the Cultural Appropriation of Hip-Hop". This article examines the color-blind ideology of White young men and women about there views about hip-hop. The methods used in the article was to go to local Hip-Hop concerts and ask men and women questions about Hip-Hop music. What i thought was pretty interested is how the interviewer ask the participants to do a follow up interview a few days later. I was surprised when a few of the people agreed to do this interview. The author mentioned he was particulary interviewing people who went alone to these concerts or with one other friend, he thought these people would be better candidates for the study.
