Summary: After watching the video about misongyny in todays video games I interviewed one of my fellow classmates to discuss how they felt about this subject. I asked her if she can briefly dicuss it freely and she commented that she does not like they way these video games depicts woman as less powerful than the men. I then asked her how do you think they can help change this problem. She stated that she understands that majority of video game players are male and that sex sales and that in some of these violent games it will be hard to sale video games that has women as the main character. This subject is indeed growing as the video game industry is growing expotentially. More feminist is stepping up to the plate to handle these issues and trying to demand equal representation in this industry. I then asked her about how she felt about the death threats the lady was getting in the video. She commented and said that was really scary and frightening for her and that it is pretty crazy to get death threats for just trying to help equalization for women in video games.
