This Article was based on 99 interviews done with various White Power Movement groups throughout the country along with cooperation with law enforcement resources and other secondary sources, although there was an issue that some White Power groups were less likely to participate because they prefer secrecy and privacy. Music was basically used in social movements as a way to create solidarity and mobilize their movements through lyrics or simply through the emotional appeal of performing music. Certain music movement scenes would use lyrics that would provide a narrative that others in the movement can relate to and address grievances for a platform that the movement stood for. With other types of music scenes it was simply performing music that would appeal to people's emotions that would create solidarity. For example if many people joined together and danced together it would create a sense of pride and pleasure to be part of the movement which creates an emotional culture for these music movement scenes.
